Single Level box with gorgeous Maple Burl inset in Leopardwood body. Leopardwood is also splintery and has a course texture and can be a pain to use. Beautiful though. Looks similar to Australian Lacewood but much harder. Remarkable grain due to the wide medullary rays resulting in flecking reminiscent of quarter sawn oak or sycamore but easily lost with improper sawing. Also sometimes has tiny pits. From Brazil. Leopardwood tray slides on top of dividers. Ebony handle. Bottom lined with UltraSuede. Bottom signed, including list of woods used.
